Hello, I'm Deanne Newland, a contemporary artist and art mentor based in Lake Macquarie, near Newcastle.
Creating art has been my lifelong passion, nurtured since childhood.
The Artistic Soul Studio, located at my home, serves as my sanctuary where I indulge in creating art, hosting mini-exhibitions, and conducting private art sessions.
My surroundings, including the beautiful beaches, the serene lake, and the coastal bushland, provide endless inspiration for my work, which has been a consistent theme throughout my artistic journey. While alcohol ink remains one of my specialties, I continually explore and develop techniques in various mediums, finding joy in the creative process.
I've had the privilege of conducting numerous art workshops, organizing artists' retreats abroad, participating in group exhibitions, and showcasing several solo exhibitions.
I'm grateful to be part of the vibrant artist community in Newcastle and Lake Macquarie.
